A G2 transmission design matched to the power unit makes the 200 Series MidMounts among the smoothest-riding zero-turns around.
The robust G2 hydrostatic transmission is design-matched to the power unit, ensuring smooth, responsive control while delivering more power to the drive tires and cutting deck. The unit features a 12-cc capacity with piston pumps and high-torque Parker wheel motors. The CoolFan™ pump cooling system and 7 micron absolute filter provide a clean, cool internal environment and extend the transmission fluid change interval to up to 1,000 hours.
Horizontal crankshaft engine.
The horizontally mounted Rehlko® engine adds performance and plenty of power, making these compact zero-turns some of the best for commercial mowing.
The horizontal crankshaft engine allows for uniform oil cooling, improved oil distribution to critical internal components, and better airflow, all of which increase the engine's longevity and overall performance. Optimized torque allows for the most direct and efficient mechanical transfer of power to the hydrostatic transmission pumps.

All of our mower decks—standard and DuraMax®—are made from the same robotically welded, heavy-gauge, formed steel and are far superior to the flimsy plastic or stamped-steel construction you find elsewhere. We've added an extra layer of heavy-gauged formed steel to our DuraMax deck that sits over the deck’s leading edge for even more durability and impact protection. The geometry of the formed steel is seven times stronger than a strip of flat steel. Our extra deep, 5.5-inch decks are made from years of innovative airflow research and feature specially-designed cutting chambers that deliver enhanced airflow for a better cut quality. Spindles are anchored to double layers of robotically-welded, formed steel in a 6-bolt pattern to spread the force of impact for greater strength in commercial applications. Triple-strength decks are nearly 1-inch thick in stress zones with durable Sentry™ spindles mounted on spindle planes that are more than 25% thicker than 1/4 inch. Spindle guards shield the housing and seal lower bearings from grass wrap and dirt ingestion. High-impact, high-rotational-speed bearings with durable seals extend spindle life. Designed to let you change the way you mow without changing decks, Grasshopper decks let you easily convert between standard Side-Discharge, Down-Discharge Mulching, and PowerVac Collection. Easily reach belts and grease points, plus make quick, simple work out of your routine zero-turn mower maintenance. Every deck comes with a built-in multi-ply rubber striping belt that combs the grass into crisp uniform stripes as you mow without cumbersome rollers that catch obstacles or gouge turf.
