These Terms of Service are a template provided for transparency. They are not legal advice. The site operator should have them reviewed by qualified counsel before relying on them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using MowerFacts (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

MowerFacts is a free, independent, informational database of lawn mower specifications and side-by-side comparisons covering push/walk-behind, riding (lawn tractor), zero-turn, and commercial mowers. The Service is provided for general reference and research purposes only.

3. Accuracy disclaimer

Specifications on MowerFacts are compiled from publicly available manufacturer sources and normalized for comparison. We believe the information to be accurate, but it is not guaranteed to be complete, current, or error-free. Manufacturers change specifications, models, and availability without notice. Always verify any specification directly with the manufacturer or an authorized dealer before making a purchase decision.

4. Data, prices, and affiliate links

MowerFacts.com is a collection of data for mowers and lawn appliances. Every attempt is made to ensure complete data accuracy but final verification is the responsibility of the user. Any corrections can be submitted using the form on the site. Prices listed are in most cases from the manufacturer MSRP (manufacturer’s suggested retail price). Price data may also be sourced from mower retailers. This site does not sell products and use of this site does not constitute any agreement of MowerFacts to sell or distribute any products at the listed prices. If a retailer link is used, it must be assumed that the link is an affiliate link that may pay a commission to MowerFacts. Affiliate links are required in some cases to source price data, because most major US retailers strictly forbid non-affiliated website use or posting data from their websites. Affiliate links come at no cost to the user, but to avoid using an affiliate link a user may visit the retailer site directly.

5. Price alerts

You may ask MowerFacts to email you when the list price of a model you follow changes. By submitting the form you confirm the email address is yours and agree to receive those emails. We send them only when a price you follow actually changes — there is no newsletter, digest or promotional mail — and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link.

Prices in alerts are the manufacturer’s published list price at the time we checked it, carry the same disclaimer as section 4, and are not an offer to sell. We may change, pause or discontinue alerts at any time, and we don’t guarantee delivery, timing or that every price change is captured — don’t rely on an alert as your only means of tracking a price. 6. Intellectual property

The selection, compilation, arrangement, normalization, and original written text on MowerFacts are our intellectual property and are protected by applicable law. The underlying factual specifications themselves (for example, a displacement, weight, or deck width) are facts and are not copyrightable; we claim no ownership of the underlying facts. You may reference and cite the Service, but you may not systematically copy or republish our compilation in a way that reproduces its original arrangement and editorial selection without permission.

7. Trademarks and no affiliation

Toro, Cub Cadet, Greenworks, and all other product names, model names, brand names, and logos referenced on MowerFacts are the trademarks of their respective owners. MowerFacts is an independent reference site and is not affiliated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or sponsored by Toro, Cub Cadet, Greenworks, or any other manufacturer. Use of these names is solely for identification and accurate description (nominative fair use).

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, to disrupt or overload our infrastructure, to scrape or harvest content in a manner that burdens the Service or breaches these terms, or to misrepresent the source of the data. The read-only JSON API is offered as a convenience; please use it reasonably.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MowerFacts and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of, or reliance on, the Service or its specifications — including any purchasing decision made in reliance on the information provided.

11. Affiliate disclosure

As of the date above, MowerFacts displays no affiliate links and earns no affiliate or referral commissions; every price shown is the manufacturer’s own published figure, linked to the manufacturer’s page. Where a retailer link does appear, treat it as an affiliate link as described in section 4. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed here and adjacent to any affected content.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
