Lawn Mower Production Database

MowerFacts is a free, independent lawn mower production database: a structured catalog of mower models, their manufacturers, documented production years where known, and source-verified specifications. It currently holds 983 models across 33 brands and 4 mower classes, with up to 42 normalized specification fields per model.

This is production data in the sense of which models a manufacturer produced, when, and to what specification — the model line, production years and engineering specs. It is not manufacturing output or unit-volume data, and we do not publish production quantities.

What this database covers

  • 33 manufacturers / brands.

Riding mower production data

The riding mower section is a dedicated slice of the database: 92 riding lawn tractors catalogued by brand, engine, deck width, drive type and production years, each with source-verified specs. Open the riding mower production data & specs listing to browse, filter and compare riding models side by side, or look up an individual model for its full spec sheet.

Source-verified specifications

Specifications are compiled from publicly available manufacturer sources, normalized to canonical units, and shown dual-unit (imperial primary, metric in parentheses). Where a model has been checked against its manufacturer source, its spec sheet carries a neutral verification badge and links to the original (and an archived copy) so you can confirm every figure. Specs are believed accurate but not guaranteed — verify with the manufacturer or dealer before purchase.

How to browse, search and compare

Machine-readable production data (JSON API)

The whole database is available as machine-readable JSON. The /api/products endpoint returns every model with its brand, class, production years (where known) and specifications; companion endpoints expose categories and brands. The dataset is free to use and is described in schema.org Dataset markup on this page so it can be discovered via Google Dataset Search. See also the sitemap and llms.txt.
