What the specs work out to
Figures MowerFacts computes from EGO’s own numbers — not published by the manufacturer.
Mowing time
- ¼ acre39 min 27 min
- ½ acre1 h 18 min 54 min
- 1 acre2 h 35 min 1 h 49 min
- 2 acres5 h 10 min 3 h 37 min
About 155 min per acre at 0.39 acres/hour, mowing at 2.2 mph. The second figure is at the published 3.1 mph top speed (0.55 acres/hour) — faster than anyone really mows.
Gate & trailer fit
- 32 in gateFits
- 36 in gateFits
- 48 in gateFits
Needs at least 28 in of clearance (estimated).
Mowing times assume 0.39 acres/hour: deck width x 2.2 mph at 80% efficiency, which allows for overlap, turns and trimming. 2.2 mph is 70% of the 3.1 mph top speed EGO publishes - almost nobody mows flat out. The "at top speed" figure is the same sum at 3.1 mph, shown so you can see it.
Fit uses the deck width plus 6 in for the discharge chute, because EGO doesn't publish an overall width — measure before buying if a gate is tight.
